Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all the daddy's out there. This is for all of you daddy's out there who view parenthood as a privilege rather than a responsibility. For all of you fathers who enjoy weekends with your family's more than your time away. For all of you fathers who are true parents and take an active roll in your child/children's lives, even those who though the parents may not be together, do what they have to do to have a good relationship with their children. To those daddy's I have the utmost respect. And also to the dads who go it alone.....the next part is for you as well.

Happy father's day to all of you single moms out there who pull double-duty. Parenting is the hardest "job" on the planet, and going it alone is extremely hard, and at times incredibly overwhelming. Parents very rarely receive the praise they deserve for the amazing task of raising these beautiful little people with good morals and a good compass to direct them on the right path in life.

If you have lost your father or significant other, I wish you peace on this fathers day and throughout the year. Sometimes it is hard to find the strength to go on, even when there is no choice. The strength in you amazes me, and I am truly awed by your will to get through each day. I can only hope that your days get easier and that you find joy in your memories.

To my father, Robert:
Words cannot express how grateful I feel to have had you as my dad, you are loving, patient, and have always been there to help me pick myself up when I needed it. You are the best man I have ever met, you give me hope that there is a good man out there, who if I ever let him in my life, will love me AND my baby girl the way we deserve to be loved. I love you so much, thank you for everything you do.

To my brother Rob:
I want you to know I am so proud of you! You took on so much at such a young age. I know you still have some work to do but if you keep up your momentum you will be where you want to be in no time. You are truly blessed to have a wonderful son, and a wonderful woman to spend your life with. Take the time to appreciate and enjoy your family and your lives together. I love you.

I know I got this out a little late but having my own little chick that I am mommy and daddy to, it is hard sometimes to do things in a timely manner, lol. I wish you all a happy father's day, I hope you all had a wonderful day!!
